Wine for the Holidays

Wine Club the Perfect Gift

“It’s the Most Wonderful Time of the Year”- The time of year when family and friends take more time to get together.  To gather around the tree, around the glow of  the candles, around the table to share food and wine.

“What wine goes best with….?”  This is a common question at Wine Tastings, there is not a common answer other than ‘it depends’ ~ Wine is meant to be enjoyed, drink what you enjoy, drink what you think goes best.

Recently “my” wine guy- Gary recommended starting with a Riesling and we couldn’t agree more.  Most people are going to like it and even those who find it ‘a little on the sweet or fruity side’ will appreciate the aroma, color and flavor as a starting point. Check out Gary’s Wine for Thanksgiving episode……..that’s “my” wine guy!!

Cheers!! Always enjoy the Wine~
